NGATA TO RUN FOR SENATE SEAT,NOT DEFENDING HIS PARLIAMENTARY SEAT.

Former Kirinyaga Central MP Ngata Kariuki has shown no interest in defending his seat.
According to his close ally Peterson Kariuki,the business tycoon will instead is preparing to run for the senate seat come 2012.
Mr.Kariuki said that Mr.Ngata has given way the young people to vie for the seat assuring those that are contesting for the senate seat to expect tough competition.
He went on to say that Mr.Ngata has said that instead of wasting his money and resources for a short period of time,he wants it to accumulate to enable him to transverse the large Kirinyaga seeking support.
The seat will be highly contested attracting over seven contestant after Gachiani Murage defected.
It has attracted Hasia Ireri(ODM),Peter Murimi Ngari (SDP),Henry Mwaniki(DP) Gachoki Gitari(Safina),Daniel Karaba(Narc-K),Beth Wambura (NPC),Kagoyo Njeru who is yet to declare his party.
