KUTUS DISPENSARY NEEDS TO BE ELEVATED TO GIVE QUALITY SERVICES.

Kutus dispensary has received a 1 million cheque for its rehabilitation.
Speaking at the hospital area MP Peter Gitau said that the hospital is a very pathetic situation adding that it needs to be rehabilitated.
He said that the hospital servbes over 50,000 people and has 2 nurses and a clinical officer with the assistance of serving nurses who are hired to help i9n treating the sick.
He also said that 300,000/- is needed for the conbstruction of a maternity ward and a children's ward since many patients are refereed at Kerugoya district hospital for specialized treatment.
The Mp also added that a perimeter fencing needs to be done to privatise all the dispensaries activities adding that there is no fence exposing the workers to criminals.
"I have given the hospital a 1 million cheque to put a perimeter fence so that all their activities are not exposed out and also to make sure that there is a permanent gate for their security reasons" Said Gitau.
He urged the ministry of medical services to send nurses and doctors to the facility saying that they also need beds since the rooms are very empty.
The MP also urged minister Nyong'o to consider giving the hospital beds to make it simpler for the wananchi to get medication adding that even emergencies cannot be held since there are no hospital beds but only empty rooms.
"The minister from medical services needs to give the hospital some beds since a mother who develops labour cannot be attend in the hospital for lack of hospital beds but they are attended in unprofessional way on the grass" He added.
