DEFILEMENT.

Police in Kirinyaga South district are looking for a 35 year old rapist.
According to Apollo Onyonyi, the suspect defiled a 7 year old girl and vanished.
He said that the man is reportedly to have been defiling young girls and threatening them with death if they tell their parents.
Mr. Onyonyi went on to say that the recent defiled girl disclosed the information to her parents where she agreed to take them to the house that she had been lured into at Kasarani village in Kirinyaga south district.
He said that after identifying the house, they reported the matter to the police who started for a manhunt for him.
The police boss said that they stormed the house adding that the suspect had escaped on suspicion that the police were looking for him and managed to get a motorbike in his house.
He said that once he is arrested, he will be charged with defilement.
Elsewhere a secondary school boy drowned at Mathangauta village in Kirinyaga South district.
Cyrus Njiru was swimming at Kiriko canal when the water waves overpowered him.
According to Apollo Onyonyi, the uncle reported that his nephew was missing after he had gone to graze cows.
He said that after a search, the deceased clothes were found hanged on a tree.
The police boss added that the uncle positively identified the deceased clothes and man hunt for his body started.
He said that the deceased body was found two kilometers away from where his clothes were trapped on a tree’s root.
The dead body was taken to Kerugoya mortuary awaiting postmortem.
